NON-TUITION PAYMENT UPDATE 2020

Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) would like to update students and other stakeholders on students’ non-tuition payment thus far. The Fund expresses its gratitude to the shareholder for prioritizing the release of funds to enable payments in this regard.

To date an amount of N$1.001 billion out of the allocated N$1.262 billion for 2020/2021 appropriation was made available by Treasury and the payment amounting to N$655.1 has been processed. The balance of N$345 million is dedicated to non-tuition fees and processed during the week of 26 October 2020 and 10 November 2020 as follows:

  • Those who have received a partial payment before will receive the full outstanding balance.
  • Those who have not received any payment to date due to delayed contract signing and attainment of the Bank Windhoek card will receive the whole amount of N$17,000 or N$21,600 at once;
